We are happy to inform our
devotees and friends that we are about to launch two new
|
welfare schemes for the service of
the poor and needy. Swami Vivekananda was of the firm
|
|
opinion that education is the
panacea for all the evils of the society. Hence, he
laid so much |
|
emphasis on education. As a humble
effort towards promoting education, we are starting
two |
|
new welfare schemes from April,
2009. |
|

1. |
|
We wish
to distribute free milk to some school going children
and expectant mothers, in |
| all one
hundred beneficiaries. Each will be served nearly 200
to 250 milliliters of milk |
| everyday in
the evening at our premises. The cost of milk per
beneficiary per day works out to |
| nearly Rs. 5/-
including sugar, distribution charges, etc. The annual
cost would come to Rs. |
| 1,800/- to Rs.
2,000/- per beneficiary. Hence, we are launching an
endowment in the name of |
| Holy Mother
called “Sarada Milk Endowment”. Those noble-hearted
philanthropists who wish |
| to participate
in the scheme may donate a sum of Rs. 25,000/- towards
this endowment |
| which would
take care of one child or expectant mother for all
time to come. |
| The amount
may be paid in one or more installments depending upon
the |
| convenience
of the donor. You may sponsor as many beneficiaries as
you wish. |

We wish to
award scholarships to hundred poor and meritorious
students studying in |
|
classes IX, X, XI and XII. The annual scholarship
amount would be Rs. 2,000/- per student. |
|
Hence, the annual amount disbursed would be Rs. 2
Lakhs. For this purpose, we wish to |
|
create an endowment titled “Sarada Scholarship
Endowment”. Those noble philanthropists |
|
who wish to participate in this scheme may donate a
sum of Rs. 25,000/- which would take |
|
care of one scholarship i.e. one student. The
amount may be donated in one or more |
|
installments depending upon the convenience of the
donor. You may institute as many |
|
scholarships as you wish. |
|

|
We have targeted an endowment of Rs. 25,000/- per
beneficiary in both the schemes |
|
assuming that the rate of interest per annum would be
8% and thus the investment would |
|
fetch an income of Rs. 2,000/- per annum. |
|
|
|
We invite all noble philanthropists to participate and
ensure the success of both the above |
|
schemes.Those who are desirous of contributing towards
the above endowments may kindly |
|
utilize the annexed Endowment Form. You may also
contribute partially for the |
|
endowments (minimum Rs. 5,000/-) |
