ANNUAL CELEBRATIONS
 

25th(Friday), 26th(Saturday) and 27th(Sunday) of February 2011 will be observed as Swami Vivekananda Day,Sri Sarada Devi Day and Sri Ramakrishna Day respectively. A public meeting on the Life and Message of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Sarada Devi will be held on 25th and 26th February respectively and on Sri Ramakrishna Day a full-day Bhakta Sammelan will be held.

Discourse on Ramcharit Manas will be held on the 28th of February and 1st and 2nd of March, 2011.
 

BHAGAVAD SAPTAH

Discourse from 11th to 17th March, 2011 (5:45 to 7:00 p.m.) on Bhramar Geet (Uddhav Gopi Samvad) by renowned Bhagavata Exponent Pujya Brahmachari Girishanandaji Maharaj.


INTERVIEWS

Individual guidance to seekers is given by Swami Shantatmananda. Interviews with the Swami should be arranged in advance.
 

PROGRAMMES FOR YOUNGSTERS

  • Sarada Children’s Forum – for children in the age group of 7 to 14 years – on every Sunday evening
  • Vivekananda Youth Forum – for youths in the age group of 15 to 30 years – on every Sunday evening
  • Milk Distribution Programme – Everyday between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., milk is distributed to about 100
    poor children and a few expectant mothers.
  • Scholarships are given to 100 meritorious and poor school students (Rs. 2000/- each)

EXHIBITION

An Exhibition on Sarada Devi, The Holy Mother, located at the basement of the Sarada Devi Auditorium and an Exhibition on Swami Vivekananda located at the basement of the Temple remain open on Saturdays and Sundays from 4:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
