Last year we had launched two new welfare schemes, one to distribute milk to 100 poor beneficiaries, mostly children and a few expectant mothers and the other to give 100 scholarships worth Rs. 2,000/- each to poor and meritorious students. We wanted to create a corpus of Rs. 50 lacs for both schemes together so as to ensure the continuity of the above two schemes on a permanent basis.

Accordingly, we had appealed to our devotees and we are very happy and grateful to inform you that the response has been quite good. 134 donors donated for the Sarada Milk Endowment contributing a sum of Rs. 18,06,542/- and 159 donors donated for the Sarada Scholarship Endowment contributing a sum of Rs. 21,51,546/-. In all, we have collected Rs. 39,58,088/- under the above two schemes.

We now earnestly appeal to our devotees to contribute the balance of Rs. 10 lacs for the above two schemes within the next three months so that we can bring these schemes to a conclusion.
